TASIS Dorado Visual and Performing Arts Honor Societies Induction Ceremony 2019-2020

TD Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) enjoyed a brilliant and delightful morning as our Thespians, Art, and Tri-M Honor Societies inducted their newest members at the TASIS Dorado Performing Arts Center.
The ceremony was highlighted by several performances, including La Borinqueña, the Star-Spangled Banner, an a capella rendition with clapping of “White Winter Hymnal” by the A Capella BEARitones that included VAPA honor society members among them. As board presidents from each honor society delivered powerful speeches, a current member would ceremoniously pour colored sand into a large glass vase. All new inductees then recited their pledge before being formally inducted into their honor societies.
Ms. Rebeca Quiñones, Executive Director of Fundación Hospital Pediátrico Universitario, was the special guest speaker. Our Thespians have been committed to helping pediatric patients at the hospital for the past two years under her guidance.
